Inspirational Humorist Lisa Earle McLeod "Lisa Earle McLeod must be the long-lost lovechild of Erma Bombeck & Scott Peck. She serves up spiritual enlightenment, savvy business advice and deadly accurate relationship insights with a wit so wicked you’ll laugh till your Frappuccino comes shooting out of your nose."
Lisa began her career as a sales person for Procter & Gamble. After five years of trolling grocery store aisles - with numerous trainees in tow - Lisa moved into the sales training business. Her corporate clients include Kimberly Clark, Home Depot, Dell Computer, Amgen and Merck. Unbeknownst to herself and her many seminar attendees, Lisa was gathering material that would later enable her to write her first book, Forget Perfect, now in its 4th printing from Penguin Putnam. A previous unknown in the publishing world, Lisa’s Forget Perfect message touched a cord with women around the country. She began speaking nationally and now rocks the house everywhere from Pfizer to the Red Hats. Her weekly newspaper column, which began her local paper, is now syndicated around the country. She has appeared on hundreds of TV shows including Good Morning America, Ali & Jack and major market network affiliates from Atlanta to LA. She has been seen in major publications like Newsweek, USA Today, O Magazine, the Christian Science Monitor, Glamour and Guideposts, and she has been heard on radio stations everywhere from Phoenix to Philly. Her passions in life are world peace, pink toe nail polish and the hope that she may one day get caught up on the laundry. |
